  • Interim CEO – Raymond Szabada

    As the founder and Chairman of the Board of SRCTec, Mr. Szabada is qualified to lead the team as the Chief Executive Officer in the interim as SRCTec strives to fill this position. As a veteran entrepreneur and a seasoned Technology executive, Mr. Szabada, understands how to build and grow companies. Currently he is the CEO of i-Open technologies, a Mission based Systems Integrator and provider of Spatial technologies to some of North America’s Largest organizations.     CEI – Peter Briscoe

    Peter Briscoe is a successful entrepreneur having founded and driven multiple successful products and startups in the last 30 years. Peter was Founder and CEO of Convedia Corp and built it to $20M in revenue with world leading products and 130 people before selling it in 2007 to Radisys Corp in Oregon for $105M Since 2010 Peter has been mentoring start up companies for the past 6 years at Acetech, BCIC, and UBC to help the BC Tech community increase in size and stature. Peter has a BaSc Engineering from the University of Waterloo and honed his skills at Nortel, BNR, Newbridge Networks and MPR Teltech before catching the entrepreneurial bug in the 1990’s.

    Executive in Residence – Mike Manion

    Mike Manion, BA, has an extensive background in senior executive positions for a number of Canada’s largest corporate farming operations and as an owner operator, Mike has direct experience operating farms all across Canada.

    He has demonstrated success improving the total value chain proposition from “gate to plate” and has increased overall production while decreasing operational cost.

    Mike has a successful track record in securing financial grants and incentives to fund both start up operations and to expand existing operations. He is a key player in the role of team builder, mentor, and coach with ongoing training and program development for middle management.

    He has worked in collaboration with Government regulators to develop a working relationship to solve environmental concerns such as waste control regulations and labour issues within the foreign workers program.

  • ALP_8948Secretary and Chief Financial Officer – Dale Emery

    In the past, Mr. Emery has been active in the field of accounting and business management for over 40 years in a variety of managerial capacities. Some of the key past positions Mr. Emery has held include Treasurer, Controller, and Manager of Accounting and Finance.  In addition, he has served as an Internal Auditor, and provided Public Accounting & Tax Services for a varied clientele across a multitude of industries.  He has exhibited a flair for designing integrated spreadsheet applications and takes pride in meeting challenges, working as a team member, and assisting and contributing to the growth of a business.

    Upon earning the CA designation Mr. Emery worked for a number of high profile organizations including Ernst & Young, Ernst & Ernst and Touche Ross CA. Later he was active with the Yukon’s Institute of Chartered Accountants for several years. While working in the Yukon, he was with the Yukon Housing Corp for over 10 years. When he retired from the public service he relocated to the lower mainland at which time he also relinquished his CA designation for personal reasons.

    As a volunteer, over the years in addition to serving on a variety of committees, he has held the positions of Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Trustee and other senior offices with distinction in a variety of non-profit / charitable organizations, including the BC / Yukon Region of Scouts-Canada (as part of this engagement he was awarded the Award of Merit in 2001 for service to Scouting), a parish church, and several fraternal organizations.
